Weekly ex-Chukar update

  • Journeyman RP David Pauley has finally found a home with the Seattle Mariners. The 2001 Idaho Falls Padre made brief appearances with the Boston Red Sox in 2006 and 2008. But it’s in Seattle that he’s really shined. Lindsey matched a record held previously by four players. The most recent one was Helena’s Eric Whitford, who scored six times against Idaho Falls on Aug. 14, 1991.
  • Billings starting pitcher Stalin Gerson tossed six scoreless innings while the offense tallied16 hits, including home runs from Devin Lohman and Yovan Gonzalez in a 17-1 win against Great Falls.
